Teaching Responsibilities
- Teach assigned classes in keeping with approved syllabi, outlines, and instructional materials.
- Courses may include:
Introduction to Theatre, Technical Design, Sound Design, Lighting Design, Costume Design, Special Topics, Stage Makeup, Acting Foundations, Directing, Theatre Practicum/Working on a Production, Directing Theatrical Productions on the College's Central Campus. - Evaluate and grade student work, including assignments, papers, and examinations.
- Prepare and deliver instructional materials (syllabi, homework assignments, handouts) in person and/or online.
- Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
- Participate in required reporting processes such as grades and participation records.
- Assist students in connecting to college resources.
- Master’s degree or higher in Theatre or in another field with 18 graduate credits in Theatre.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship is provided.
