• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Teach English language arts, including reading, writing, literature, and grammar.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
• Foster a love for literature and writing through creative assignments and projects.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor students during extracurricular activities and events.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification in English language arts or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching English at the middle or high school level.
• Strong knowledge of English language arts curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for teaching and assessment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Commitment to fostering a growth mindset and promoting student success.
