We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the engineering and integration of hardware and software for intelligent electrical devices used in substations and electric distribution systems. This role is hands-on and collaborative, working closely with engineering teams to support complex projects.
Key Responsibilities- Engineer and integrate hardware/software for programmable and configurable devices in electric substations
- Support detailed project designs aligned with CAD drawings created by the I&C team
- Work hands-on in a lab environment for system prototyping, testing, and device integration
- Configure and integrate devices such as RTUs, relays, meters, controllers, and IEDs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support multiple engineering projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Access
- Experience with programmable/configurable devices (RTUs, regulator & recloser controls)
- Familiarity with IEC-61131 programming is a plus
- Experience with DNP-3.0 protocol (serial & IP) preferred
- Programming experience in or another high-level language is a plus
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work in diverse team environments
