System Analyst

The GIS System Analyst will ensure the enterprise GIS platforms, spatial data, and integrated applications operate reliably and effectively. This role partners with engineering, operations, field services, and asset-management teams to deliver accurate geospatial information and GIS-enabled solutions that strengthen utility operations and customer service.

• Enterprise GIS Administration: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related components.
• Spatial Data Management: Maintain utility asset datasets, perform QA/QC, and enforce data governance and metadata standards.
• System Integration Support: Assist with integrations between GIS and OMS, CIS, EAM/CMMS, SCADA, and mobile workforce systems.
• Application & Map Development: Build and maintain web maps, dashboards, mobile data-collection tools, and custom GIS applications.
• Automation & Scripting: Use Python, SQL, and FME to streamline workflows, improve data quality, and support system automation.
• User Support & Training: Provide Tier 2/3 support, create documentation, and train field and office staff.

• System Monitoring & Maintenance: Oversee system performance, updates, patches, and availability of GIS services.

• 5+ years of experience working with the ArcGIS suite of technologies in an enterprise environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Esri tools including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and enterprise geodatabases.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, SQL, and FME.
• Experience supporting enterprise systems and working within structured IT environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with APIs and web services for system integrations.

• Experience in the utilities industry (electric, water, wastewater, or gas).
• Familiarity with Esri Utility Network or legacy Geometric Network models.
• Experience with mobile GIS tools such as Field Maps, Survey
  123, or Workforce.
• Knowledge of cloud or virtualized environments such as Azure, AWS, or VMware.

Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent experience.

• This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $50.89/hour - $67.86/hour W-2.
