Job Description:
Requirement/Must Have- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical training and experience.
- Experience in production, development, or quality management environments.
- Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier qualification activities.
- Experience leading PPAP activities and managing related documentation and compliance requirements.
- Experience implementing quality and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, and PDCA.
- Strong technical understanding of engineering drawings, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues.
- Experience addressing supplier performance and supply issues through structured problem-solving approaches.
- Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams including research and development, procurement, and field teams.
- Experience supporting supplier quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Plan and conduct supplier audits to evaluate compliance, performance, and capability.
- Evaluate and qualify new and existing suppliers while defining quality requirements.
- Lead supplier qualification activities and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Manage PPAP documentation and approval processes to ensure compliance with performance and capability requirements.
- Coordinate documentation, meetings, and communication related to supplier quality activities.
- Coordinate and negotiate Quality Assurance Agreements with suppliers and ensure their implementation.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality systems, standards, and regulatory processes.
- Promote supplier performance improvement through corrective and preventive action initiatives.
- Analyze defect trends and lead root cause analysis to implement sustainable solutions.
- Develop supplier improvement programs to enhance quality and reliability.
- Serve as a liaison between suppliers, research and development teams, procurement, and field teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Manage supplier complaint handling for defective purchased parts and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Support procurement teams in recovering costs related to supplier non-conformities.
- Coordinate projects related to supplier strategy, cost reduction, and productivity improvements.
- Collaborate with global partner facilities to align and optimize supplier quality strategies.
- Experience working with international supplier quality programs.
- Experience supporting supplier development and supply chain quality strategy initiatives.
- Supplier quality management and auditing.
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
- Quality planning and PPAP management.
- Strong technical analysis and engineering documentation skills.
- Cross-functional collaboration and supplier communication.
