Job Purpose And OverviewThe Financial Analyst III supports annual budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of leadership reporting materials. This role manages key month‑end activities, collaborates with department leaders on Opex reviews, and works with accounting to ensure accurate close, accruals, and policy compliance. It also provides Oracle system support across the North America Finance team and drives improvements in FP&A processes, reporting tools, and workflows while mentoring junior analysts.
WorkEnvironment & Travel
This is a hybrid position based in Jackson, Michigan. The successful candidate will work on‑site a minimum of one day per week and may travel up to 10% of the time.
Responsibilities- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial data.
- Complete month‑end close responsibilities, including Opex analysis, accruals, and scorecard analysis, and support preparation of leadership materials.
- Produce SNAP reporting, including file creation and variance analysis for leadership.
- Support budget and forecasting processes for Opex, depreciation, and intercompany margin, and assist in preparation of leadership materials.
- Serve as a strategic business partner for R&D and other departments, providing financial guidance and challenging assumptions.
- Provide support for Oracle financial systems, including troubleshooting and process improvements.
- Enhance FP&A processes by improving reporting templates and planning tools, streamlining workflows, and accelerating planning cycles.
- Support monthly Balance Sheet reviews, ensuring accuracy, timely completion, thorough variance investigation, proper documentation, and adherence to controls.
- Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
- Perform varied analyses to present solutions and results for finance initiatives.
- Take initiative and work under supervision to achieve departmental and company objectives.

- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis.
- Experience with SAP and Oracle preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting practices, GAAP, internal controls, and close software.
- Strong communication skills at all leadership levels and a reputation as a knowledgeable business partner.
- Work at a computer for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day).
- Use motor coordination and dexterity for routine tasks.
- Handle objects up to 25 pounds.

Base salary range: $80,330 – $125,320, with bonus eligibility.
