Our skilled nursing facility Business Office is seeking a part-timeresident-focused Collections Concierge to support residents and their representatives from admission through discharge. This role blends hospitality and collection coordination with a strong emphasis on Medicaid awareness, application, and private pay collections.
Key Responsibilities- Bill, monitor, and collect private pay accounts monthly and ongoing following procedural policy, maintaining accurate collection documentation while demonstrating drive, comfort, and confidence collecting outstanding balances (statements)
- Serve as the primary financial point of contact for residents and their representatives from admission through discharge to include attending interdisciplinary staff meetings (meet w/ them at admission, ongoing)
- Coordinate, track, and follow through on all components of the Medicaid application process, including documentation and deadlines on Medicaid eligibility and financial options under the guidance of a Lead
- Cross-training to offer coverage and support for Business Office
- Associate Degree and/or Minimum of two years of collections or equal experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Organizational Software Applications
- Positive communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial discussions with professionalism and empathy
- Healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience helpful
