Quality Coordinator

Schedule: Full Time | 40 hours per week | 8:00am - 4:30pm

Department: Thome PACE

Location: Jackson, MI

Compensation: $18.50 - $21.50 / hour

Description: Join Thome PACE as a Quality Coordinator and play an important role in supporting quality improvement and compliance efforts that directly impact participant care and safety. Reporting to the Quality Director, this position provides administrative and clerical support for the Quality & Compliance Program, including data collection, reporting support, EMR assistance, and coordination of quality initiatives. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys organization, teamwork, and making a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Quality Director and Quality Team.
  • Assist with quality improvement (QI) activities, including data collection, tracking, and data entry.
  • Support the development and monitoring of quality indicators at both the program and center level.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to quality and compliance initiatives.
  • Participate in quality-focused committees and support follow-up actions as needed.
  • Provide team member support with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Assist with staff education related to quality activities, EMR basics, and safety during New Hire Orientation.
  • Serve as the RELIAS eLearning program administrator.
  • Support safety-related duties and initiatives as assigned.
  • Partner with the HR team to support new hire onboarding activities and recordkeeping.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support program operations and compliance.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clerical position.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with the frail and elderly population.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
  • Must meet a standardized set of competencies for the position, as established by Thome PACE and approved by CMS, before working independently.
  • Must have reliable transportation and possess a valid and current driver's license.

Preferred:

  • Secondary education in healthcare business or a related field.
  • Prior work experience in the Quality field.
  • Prior work experience as an administrative assistant or a related field.
