Registered Dietitian

We are currently hiring an experienced Registered Dietitian for a 13-week contract assignment with one of our Hospital client in Jackson, Michigan. Following are a few details:

Location: Jackson, MI

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Rate: Up to $50/hour

Schedule: 40 hours/week | Flexible schedule (4x10s, 5x8s, or a combination)

• The Registered Dietitian serves as a nutritional consultant and resource for the healthcare team, providing comprehensive nutrition assessments, developing individualized care plans, implementing nutrition interventions, monitoring patient outcomes, and educating patients and families.
• This role also collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

• Assess patients' nutritional status and identify nutrition-related problems.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families.
• Monitor patient progress and modify nutrition interventions as needed.
• Evaluate food tolerance and nutritional intake.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate nutrition documentation in the medical record.
• Participate in staff education, community programs, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Precept dietetic interns and students.
• Serve as a liaison with patient and retail food services.

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Dietetics or a related field (per current CDR educational requirements).
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time Registered Dietitian experience.
• Experience performing Nutrition-Focused Physical Exams (NFPE).
• Experience with Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition.
