Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) Jackson, MI | PAY : $55-$57 (hourly)
Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join its multidisciplinary healthcare team. If you're passionate about improving patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care and thrive in an acute care environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- With Possible Extension
- 4 x 10-hour shifts
- 5 x 8-hour shifts
- Combination schedule available
As a Registered Dietitian, you will:
- Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments and nutrition-focused physical exams (NFPE)
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans and medical nutrition therapy
- Manage enteral and parenteral nutrition support
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate nutrition outcomes
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic diets and disease management
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Document nutrition interventions in the electronic medical record
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and nutrition education programs
- Mentor dietetic interns and contribute to professional development activities
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree meeting current CDR educational requirements
- Minimum one year of recent full-time Registered Dietitian experience within the past five years in one or more of the following:
- Nursing Home
- Trained and experienced in Nutrition Focused Physical Examination (NFPE)
- Experience managing enteral and parenteral nutrition
- Strong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
