Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Setting: Retirement Community
Location: Jackson, MI
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Type: Direct Hire / Permanent Placement

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated rate range: ≈ $35-45/hr, depending on experience, setting, and location
Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Document patient progress using EMR systems
  • Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians to deliver coordinated care
  • Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment goals and progress
  • Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Current MI SLP license (or eligibility)
  • CCC-SLP preferred, but CFs may be considered when supervision is available
  • Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
