Clinic Service Representative – Urology – Days

Full Time

At Henry Ford Urology - Jackson, we provide medical or surgical management for patients with a range of urological conditions, including kidney, bladder and prostate cancer; kidney stones; incontinence; urinary tract infection, bladder prolapse, interstitial cystitis, sexual dysfunction and bed wetting.

Under general supervision, standard operating procedures for all patient registration activities including patient reception, face-to-face check-in and checkout, preregistration, insurance verification, cash collections, chart reconciliation and patient discharge. Actively contributes to an organizational culture committed to the highest degree of service excellence standards to all customer groups. Actively collaborates with populations of diverse backgrounds and ages. Dependable and punctual. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Requirements:
Able to check in and check out patients, great customer service skills, and someone who has great phone etiquette.

From the Hiring manager: WHS experience preferred, front desk experience preferred, strong communication skills, organized, willing to travel, Epic experience a plus.

Monday to Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday

7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

As a Patient Registration Representative, you
¿ ll play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by managing all registration activities, from check-in to discharge. You
¿ ll support patients, clinic staff, and medical teams by maintaining accurate records, verifying insurance, and handling financial responsibilities. Your work directly contributes to a positive and efficient healthcare environment.

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
• Verify insurance and discuss general financial responsibilities with patients.
• Handle cash collections and connect patients with the Customer Service Center as needed.
• Reconcile patient charts and manage discharge processes accurately.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, supporting both patients and clinic staff.
