Customer Service Rep HHC Medical Equipment Retail

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, be willing to work a flexible on-site schedule within the HME business hours, have a strong desire to learn, and be open to being taught as well as learning independently. Knowledge of HME and/or medical terminology is encouraged. Proficiency in computer, phone and interpersonal skills is essential.

• High school diploma or GED
• Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers and standard office equipment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational and interpersonal competencies essential for professional medical office environments
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately
• Analytical capability to gather data, compile reports, and manage special projects
• Proficiency in face-to-face, telephone, and computer-based communication
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team structure
• Professional demeanor consistent with medical office standards

• College coursework in business or related field
• Familiarity with medical terminology and home medical equipment (HME) industry knowledge
• Self-directed work approach with demonstrated ability to learn independently
