Per Diam Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Do you have a passion for helping individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) reach their full potential? Life Ways is seeking a
BCBA or BCBAD to provide culturally competent, trauma-informed behavioral health services. You’ll evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans while collaborating with families, providers, and internal teams to ensure quality, cost-effective care that aligns with Life Ways’ mission and values.

• Conduct comprehensive autism evaluations using standardized tools to assess communication, social interaction, play, and behaviors.
• Establish diagnoses, recommend treatment, and design individualized behavior and positive support plans.
• Review authorizations, levels of care, and treatment progress for Medicaid-funded services.
• Complete functional behavior assessments, monitor treatment plans, and support appeals or grievance processes as needed.
• Communicate with providers, participate in peer reviews, and collaborate on interdisciplinary case discussions.
• Work a flexible schedule, including at least two evenings per week.

• Minimum of a master's degree from an accredited institution conferred in a degree program in which the candidate completed a BACB approved course sequence.
• Current, active, and unrestricted certification as a BCBA through the BACB.
• Licensed through the Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Authority (LARA).
• Experience working with Medicaid or commercial insurance plans.

• Master of Science/Arts in Applied Behavioral Analysis or Master of Science/Arts in Psychology with a specialization in behavior analysis
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst Doctoral (BCBAD/LBA)
