Systems Administrator, IT Support
Job Description
Must already reside in Michigan as this is a hybrid schedule. Cannot utilize Corp-to-Corp, USC/GC only.
Title:
M365 System Administrator. Responsibilities include administering, implementing, supporting and documenting procedures for the Microsoft 365 Platform. Manage and maintain system configurations and actively troubleshoot issues. Work with end users on best practices and collaborate between IT and Security teams to ensure compliance.
- Administrative or engineer experience with the Microsoft ecosystem
- Whole‑holistic understanding of the Microsoft platform
- Ability to document technical processes and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer experience skills
- Able to review published technology documents and define, communicate changes that impact our organization
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting
- Someone that helps support Microsoft platform with a focus on Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange
- Generalist across the Microsoft stack
- Strong communication
- The Manager's team supports Microsoft and is looking to add to their footprint
- Looking for someone along the lines of a Systems Admin II or early Engineer level
- Comfortability with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Working with customers and stakeholders
- Higher level resources will typically take customers
- This person will mainly work internally, but some customer support experience is nice
- Primarily operational and troubleshooting
- Work Environment:
Hybrid position- 3 days/week on site at first and will transition to 1 day/week after they are comfortable
- Working out of the Jackson, MI office
- Standard business hours, 8am-5pm
- Can be flexible with start time (7am, 8am, 9am)
- No expectation for on call
- Hopeful that this role will turn permanent after a year but will extend if they do not have headcount
- Windows, System administrator, Systems engineering, Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows administration, Support, Troubleshooting, Active Directory, Office 365, Windows server
This is a Contract position based out of Jackson, MI.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $40.00–$55.00/hr.
