SAP EAM Consultant- Independent

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience working with SAP plant maintenance & customer service modules and industry‑specific modules.
• Hands‑on experience in functional design and configuration with SAP Enterprise Asset Management.
• Experience in production support utilizing ITIL practices for incident, change, and problem management.
• Ability to create utilities industry‑specific solution designs to plan, define, and execute complex, interdependent work.
• Extensive experience in implementation or support within the utilities industry environment.
• Experience integrating utilities industry with asset investment, EAM, scheduling, mobility, graphical work, and/or GIS applications.
• Knowledge and experience with EAM solutions including SAP, spatial asset management, asset performance management, Ventyx (Hitachi) etc., and knowledge of handheld wireless devices, RFID, ESRI spatial solutions technologies.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, strong customer‑facing and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with business partners to facilitate effective, end‑to‑end solutions for business processes.
• Detailed knowledge of IT principles, methods, and practices in the utility area.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to maintain application configuration parameters and system‑related documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile and all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience delivering technical documentation and procedures.
• Proficiency in information and data management.
• Extensive experience in system design and application development.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles, processes, and testing requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to take on responsibility.
• Experience of S/4/HANA desirable.
