This position is onsite minimally 3 days a week at One Energy Plaza located in Jackson, MI. The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate (relocation package is available for those that qualify).

The Software Configuration Analyst for Grid Reliability product team is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of vendor software solutions, including Commercial Off‑the‑Shelf (COTS) products such as the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). This role requires a strong understanding of solution architecture, business processes, and data requirements to ensure optimal system performance, security, and efficiency. The Software Configuration Analyst collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to ensure software functionality aligns with organizational needs.

• Design, document, configure, test, validate, implement, and manage Commercial Off‑the‑Shelf (COTS) software products, customizing solutions as needed to meet business requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems
• Perform routine configuration and maintenance activities to ensure software systems operate securely, efficiently, and effectively. Identify and work within constraints of vendor platforms while optimizing performance and functionality despite technical limitations, licensing restrictions, or integration challenges
• Maintain strong working relationships with software vendors, proactively addressing platform‑related issues and ensuring timely resolution to minimize system downtime and disruption
• Part of the Agile team, work on sprint scope items from the ADMS Product backlog
• Supports ADMS product operations to meet established service level agreements
• This role includes participation in a 24×7 on‑call rotation (every 4–6 weeks) to support the mission‑critical ADMS system, with additional compensation provided for on‑call responsibilities
