Job Title:
Workstation Support Analyst (SCCM SME)
Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Jackson, MI as needed)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract (Strong possibility of extension)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a Workstation Support Analyst (SCCM SME) to support enterprise application packaging, software deployment, and workstation management initiatives within a large corporate environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SCCM/MECM, application packaging, Power Shell troubleshooting, and software deployment across Windows-based environments.
This role will support ongoing Windows 11 migration and application modernization efforts, ensuring enterprise applications are properly packaged, tested, deployed, and supported. The successful candidate will collaborate with business partners, application owners, vendors, and technical teams to deliver reliable software deployments and maintain workstation standards.
Key Responsibilities- Package, test, and deploy enterprise applications using SCCM/MECM.
- Support software distribution and workstation management across Windows environments.
- Troubleshoot application deployment and installation issues using SCCM and Power Shell.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, application owners, and vendors to resolve deployment-related issues.
- Participate in project meetings and provide status updates on deployment activities, risks, and challenges.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and coordinate deployment sign-offs.
- Create and maintain deployment documentation, installation procedures, and support materials.
- Evaluate legacy applications and determine compatibility with Windows 11 environments.
- Support application migration, packaging, and deployment initiatives.
- Work independently to manage multiple software deployment requests and project deliverables.
- Strong hands-on experience with SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager/MECM).
- Experience with application packaging and enterprise software deployment.
- Proficiency with Power Shell scripting and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting Windows desktop and workstation environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to software deployment and endpoint management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a project-focused environment.
- Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 migrations.
- Experience with enterprise endpoint management and workstation support.
- Knowledge of software testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
- Experience working directly with business users, vendors, and application owners.
- Background in desktop engineering, endpoint administration, or enterprise workstation support.
