IT Project Manager, IT Infrastructure, Change Management

Location:
This is a hybrid (virtual/on‑site) position with required on‑site days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at One Energy Plaza, Jackson, MI. Qualified candidates must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate. A relocation package is available for eligible candidates.
Job Responsibilities
The Manager, IT oversees subordinate staff and manages day‑to‑day performance of IT operations. The role focuses on End User Computing services, overseeing the lifecycle of end‑user devices from procurement through decommissioning. The Manager leads employees, contractors, and vendors who provide operational support, first and second‑level incident management, asset refresh programs, knowledge management, ad‑hoc project support, and order fulfillment. The role also manages financial budgets, talent development, and human resources functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assess internal and vendor‑provided solutions and develop strategies for IT products and services.
- Understand key digital assets and emerging technologies and evaluate how they influence business decisions and transform operations.
- Coach and mentor team members on the benefits, risks, and business impacts of technology solutions.
- Provide leadership and direction while measuring and improving the quality of service delivery and operational performance.
- Utilize data‑driven insights to support decision‑making and apply problem‑solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Contribute to IT initiatives by designing and deploying new systems, enhancing existing technology solutions, operating and maintaining IT environments, and delivering high‑quality IT services.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement effective technology solutions.
- Manage and monitor IT budgets, identify opportunities for waste elimination and cost optimization, and minimize operational costs while maintaining high service quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field and four (4) or more years of experience leading people, projects, and/or cross‑functional teams or initiatives in a technical environment; experience designing, deploying, operating, and/or maintaining IT systems that delivered measurable business value or experience designing, delivering, and enhancing IT services that support IT system delivery.
- Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field and six (6) or more years of experience leading people, projects, and/or cross‑functional teams or initiatives in a technical environment; experience designing, deploying, operating, and/or maintaining IT systems that delivered measurable business value or experience designing, delivering, and enhancing IT services that support IT system delivery.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and eight (8) or more years of experience leading people, projects, and/or cross‑functional teams or initiatives in a technical environment; experience designing, deploying, operating, and/or maintaining IT systems that delivered measurable business value or experience designing, delivering, and enhancing IT services that support IT system delivery.
- Three (3) or more years of leadership experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
