Sr. ADMS Configuration Analyst

Job Title: Sr. Software Configuration Analyst

Duration: 24 months with high potential of extension

Location: Jackson MI (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Analyst to join the Digital Transformation team supporting the Asset Management – Transmission & Grid Management organization. This role will focus on configuring, enhancing, and supporting the Aspen Tech/OSI Emerson ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) platform while contributing to a multi-year hardware and software modernization initiative.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with the OSI Emerson ADMS suite
, including system configuration, enhancements, and utility operations.

Experience with
DeltaV will also be considered, although OSI Emerson experience is strongly preferred.

This position will play a key role in developing configuration solutions that improve dispatch efficiency, automate manual processes, reduce dispatch calls, and support field operations through the ADMS platform.

• Configure, maintain, and enhance the Aspen Tech/OSI Emerson ADMS suite of applications.
• Support ongoing ADMS enhancements, including solutions focused on dispatch call reduction and operational efficiency.
• Design and implement ADMS configurations related to:
• Dispatch workflows
• Field controls
• Underbuild/build control processes
• Automation initiatives
• Participate in a multi-year hardware and software upgrade project, including migration to ADMS Version 15
  .
• Support and enhance recently upgraded Livewire 3.4 and assist with implementation of Portal and Compass modules.
• Develop and support web-based applications that integrate with or reside within the ADMS environment.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable ADMS configuration solutions.
• Collaborate with dispatch teams, business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and technical resources to improve operational processes.
• Assist in transitioning manual operational workflows into automated solutions that improve efficiency and labor optimization.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues and provide production support for ADMS applications.
• Participate in testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing system improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a Configuration Analyst, Application Analyst, or similar technical role.
• Hands-on experience configuring Aspen Tech/OSI Emerson ADMS applications.
• Experience working with the OSI Emerson ADMS suite

• Knowledge of utility operations, particularly within electric transmission, distribution, or grid management environments.
• Experience configuring enterprise software solutions and implementing system enhancements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
