A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Epicor Kinetic ERP Specialist to take ownership of its Epicor environment and serve as the primary internal subject-matter expert.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the administration, configuration, customization, support, and continued optimization of Epicor Kinetic across multiple business functions. The Specialist will partner closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and IT to improve business processes, enhance system functionality, and increase user adoption.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Epicor Kinetic or Epicor ERP 10 and is comfortable working across both functional and technical areas. Experience with BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, Kinetic Application Studio, SQL Server, integrations, reporting, and manufacturing workflows is particularly important.

Key Responsibilities Epicor Administration & Support
  • Serve as the primary administrator and internal SME for the Epicor Kinetic ERP environment.
  • Manage user access, security roles, system configurations, and overall environment health.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve day-to-day ERP support requests.
  • Coordinate upgrades, patches, hotfixes, testing, and production deployments.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration records, workflows, SOPs, and troubleshooting resources.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for Epicor support cases and third-party ERP vendors.
ERP Configuration & Process Improvement
  • Lead or support Epicor implementations, upgrades, module rollouts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Configure and optimize modules across Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Job Management, Quality, Finance, and Material Management.
  • Partner with business leaders and end users to gather requirements, identify process gaps, and recommend scalable ERP solutions.
  • Support multi-site, multi-department, and cross-functional business processes.
  • Develop and execute testing plans including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Support data migration, validation, and system conversion activities.
Epicor Development & Customization
  • Develop and maintain BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, data directives, and other Epicor customizations.
  • Build and maintain custom reports using SSRS, Crystal Reports, and Epicor reporting tools.
  • Develop integrations and workflow automation using Epicor Functions, REST APIs, and related integration technologies.
  • Customize Epicor Kinetic screens and workflows using Application Studio and other UI customization tools.
  • Write SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for reporting, troubleshooting, data analysis, and integrations.
  • Support integration between Epicor and third-party applications including CRM, EDI, WMS, eCommerce, and other enterprise platforms.
Training & User Adoption
  • Provide hands-on support to users across multiple departments.
  • Develop training materials, user guides, FAQs, and process documentation.
  • Deliver end-user training for new functionality, process changes, and system enhancements.
  • Work directly with department leaders to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Promote ERP best practices and drive stronger adoption of Epicor capabilities throughout the organization.
Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience administering, configuring, supporting, or developing within Epicor Kinetic or Epicor ERP 10.
  • Strong experience with Epicor BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, and Kinetic Application Studio.
  • Experience working with Epicor manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, finance, and quality functionality.
  • Strong SQL Server experience including queries, views, and stored procedures.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP business workflows.
  • Experience supporting Epicor upgrades, implementations, module rollouts, or major system enhancements.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Epicor Kinetic certification or Epicor University training.
  • Epicor REST API, Epicor Functions, or Service Connect.
  • SSRS or Crystal Reports.
  • C#, .NET, or related Epicor development technologies.
  • Third-party system integrations.
  • Full Epicor implementation lifecycle experience.
  • Experience with in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments.
  • ITIL, PMP, or related certifications.
Employment Requirements
  • Must be able to work full-time on-site in Jackson, Michigan.
  • Candidates outside the immediate area must be willing to relocate prior to starting.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
