Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to perform machining operations on metallic and non-metallic components;
Read and interpret prints and factory work orders to determine dimensions, tolerances, feed rates, cutting speeds, depths of cut, and required cutting tools;
Position and secure tooling setups accurately to ensure safe and efficient machining operations;
Insert work pieces into position and secure them using appropriate methods (between centers, in chucks, or on face plates);
Verify machined work pieces meet specifications with tolerances as close as 0.001 inches using precision measuring tools
