Join Our TeamEver wanted to be the person who makes a multi-ton custom machine actually come alive? At Orbitform, we design and build custom machines that our customers rely on to run their production lines, and we need a Custom Machine Build Electrician who loves wiring things up, chasing down gremlins, and seeing a machine fire up for the first time.

Requirements What You'll Do- Wire panels and machines from the ground up - basic machine wiring and panel building is your bread and butter
- Perform electrical assembly on our standard and custom-designed machines
- Bring machines to life: perform start-up, debug issues, and help with customer run-offs
- Team up with senior machine builders on the electrical side of custom machine builds
- Be the voice that tells Engineering "here's how we make this better" - your feedback helps eliminate defects and improve our products
- Keep quality front and center so our machines keep performing long after they leave our building
- Jump into cross-functional teams working on new builds and corrective actions
- Work safely and look out for your teammates
- 2-4 years of machine wiring or machine servicing experience
- Comfortable reading mechanical assembly and controls drawings
- Solid grasp of mechanical and electrical machine operations, with basic troubleshooting chops
- Familiarity with Word, Excel, Solid Works, AutoCAD, and Project
- Bonus points if you've got experience with mechanical assembly, hydraulic/pneumatic plumbing, or wire routing and termination
- Comfortable in a hands-on shop environment with noise, coolant, and temperature swings - hey, that's manufacturing!
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 75 lbs
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM, 40 hours per week. Regular overtime and frequent weekend work required. Travel is primarily local, with occasional out-of-area or overnight trips.
