Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday : 7:30AM - 4:30PM
- Review project instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, and test equipment.
- Perform testing in accordance with test specifications, including test setup, test equipment adjustment, and sample and data storage.
- Draft detailed drawings or sketches as necessary for the fabrication of equipment or setup components.
- Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components or assemblies for products such as industrial equipment and machinery, power equipment, servo systems, machine tools, and measuring instruments.
- Set up and conduct tests of hydraulic components to evaluate product performance toward support of customer requirements.
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of two years of equivalent experience or 4 years of experience working in a technical/laboratory setting without a degree or certification.
- Knowledge of test equipment operation, machine hydraulics, data acquisition, and inspection equipment.
- A high degree of mechanical aptitude.
- A broad knowledge of test machines and instruments.
- General knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Print reading and dimensional inspection capability.
- Effective use of current technology and the learning and application of new technology.
- Basic mathematics, graph reading, and calculations are required.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Experience with PC-based control systems.
- Prior knowledge with measurement/data acquisition systems, instrumentation wiring, and documentation.
As an ITAR facility, this position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
