Sorting Operator

We are seeking a Sorter/Operator to join our on-site team in Jackson, MI. This is a seasonal temporary position. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory control within a fast-paced environment. As a Shorter/Operator, you will be responsible for:
Sorting & Organizing:
Sort incoming and outgoing products using scanners and manual techniques to ensure correct placement. Inventory Management:
Scan and record item details to maintain accurate inventory counts and updated stock levels. Quality Control:
Inspect products for defects or damages during sorting to meet quality standards. Labeling:
Apply proper labels to products and packages for easy tracking and retrieval. Packing & Shipping:
Prepare items for shipment by packing, labeling, and weighing packages according to company standards.

Collaboration:

Work closely with team members to improve processes and ensure smooth operations. Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Equipment Operation:
Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed. Ideal Candidate Profile Previous experience in packing, shipping, or receiving preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety and teamwork.
