Set-Up Technician
The Set-Up Technician is responsible for performing initial machine set ups on VMC machining centers for operations to produce parts to blueprint specifications. Inspects first run and sample parts/s to ensure machining conforms to specifications. Pay based on experience. The position is on 2nd shift and is temp to direct.

Set-Up Technician Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 18.00 to $ 22.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 03:30pm to 02:00am)
- Responsible for adherence to all applicable ISO/TS16949 Policies, Procedures and/or Work Instructions.
- Perform initial machine set ups for VMC machining centers.
- Perform tool changes and adjust on VMC Machining Centers within the plant as required.
- Inspect first run and sample/s parts to ensure machining conforms to specifications.
- Train employees and overview productivity and quality performance of employees within the Machining Center Department.
- Complete S.P.C. forms as required.
- At times, operate machines for production.
- Complete Daily Production Slips.
- Complete Histograms as required.
- Complete Material Routing Tickets
- Complete Suspect Material Tag
Set-Up Technician
Qualifications:
- One year or more of setting up VMC machines.
- Ability to read blueprints, routings and charts.
- Basic addition and subtraction skills and understanding of decimal system.
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
