LocationThis is a hybrid position with required onsite days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The role may be assigned to the One Energy Plaza headquarters in Jackson, MI, the Grand Rapids Service Center, or the Saginaw Service Center. Candidates must be within commutable distance or willing to relocate; relocation package available for eligible individuals.

General Summary ofJob Responsibilities
The Manager of Co-Worker Communications will oversee all internal communications, including the intranet, digital signage, email campaigns, and other channels. Responsibilities include developing and executing the communications strategy, aligning with leadership, setting tactical plans, and contributing to company culture and goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Create and implement internal communications strategy aligned with company culture.
- Use data, research, benchmarking, and insights to guide communication improvements.
- Act as advisor to stakeholders on engagement and motivation through communications.
- Utilize modern digital solutions to influence and support desired experiences.
- Partner with IT on new technology solutions to enhance communication reach.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Develop communication strategies and plans addressing stakeholder concerns.
- Understand media markets, public relations, and crisis communications.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability across diverse groups.
- Diagnose issues, work collaboratively, and leverage cross‑functional resources.
- Familiarity with external communication landscape and emerging technologies.
- Analyze data logically and draw actionable conclusions.
- Exhibit excellent writing skills.
- Build relationships from C‑level to employee groups.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or Journalism + 4+ years in a communications‑related field. Experience in coaching and mentoring teams to drive consensus is required.
- OR Associate's degree in the same fields + 6+ years in communications.
- OR High School diploma + 8+ years in communications.
- Graphic design.
- Motion graphics and/or videography.
