Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Part‑Time Jackson Hospital
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia care team. The CRNA will be responsible for administering intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, and other medical and dental procedures. Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and ASA classes of patients, including geriatric and pediatric patients.
Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.

Work-Life:- Minimal call with a 45-minute response time
- Private call rooms available for those on call
- Wide variety of shifts: 8‑10‑12hr shifts to start with an opportunity to transition to longer shifts if desired.
- Excellent shift premiums available for evening shifts
- Wide variety of cases:
Ortho, Neuro, vascular, general, trauma, bariatric, plastics, thoracic, robots, cysto, OB, and a small number of pediatric cases - Airway management for housewide codes and ED traumas
- Staffing of endoscopy center (3 rooms) and surgery center (5 rooms) located across the street from the hospital
- OB CRNA team for epidurals
- Conduct pre‑anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans.
- Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) in collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare providers.
- Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia‑related complications.
- Provide post‑anesthesia care and pain management.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Current RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA).
- Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia.
- Ability to work harmoniously in collaborative situations with anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers.
