Exciting Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Opportunity in Jackson, MI!

Required Skills:

  • Valid CRNA certification and Michigan state licensure
  • Demonstrated expertise in administering anesthesia for both adult and pediatric patients
  • Experience with general surgery, neurosurgical procedures, and spinal anesthesia
  • Strong knowledge of airway management, ventilation, and respiratory monitoring
  • Proficient in using Epic EMR for documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous experience in Level II Trauma Centers
  • Additional certifications such as Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
  • Familiarity with anesthesia for complex neurosurgical cases
  • Bilingual skills or experience working with diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing Anesthesia
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure anesthesia practice
  • Prior locum or temporary assignment experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to commit to the start date of May 5, 2026
  • Willingness to work 32-40 hours weekly, with scheduled shifts on Mondays or Fridays
  • No on-call responsibilities required
  • Current CPR/BLS certifications
  • Credentialing process estimated to take 90-120 days; other reimbursements such as travel or application fees are not covered
