Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN in NICU – Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Jackson, Michigan.
Job Description & RequirementsProvides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team, participates in solving variances from patient goals, and ensures implementation of solutions.
Schedule:
19:00 – 06:30, 12‑hour night shifts, every other weekend and every other holiday required. Duration: 10 weeks, 36 hours per week.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
- Required:
NICU – Neonatal Intensive Care specialty, RN discipline, 07/13/2026 start date, travel employment type. - Preferred: 2+ years of neonatal nursing experience, NRP and BLS certifications.
- Required:
Graduation from an accredited nursing school. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). - Required licensure:
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. - Preferred: BLS certification.
