Location: Jackson, MI
Inpatient/Outpatient: 100% inpatient (clinic with occasional inpatient weekend coverage)
Case Load: 90% Adult, 10% Pediatrics
Position Overview: Henry Ford Health Jackson is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Endocrinology to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will desire a contingent schedule, will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Previous APP experience of at least one year required.
Prior experience in ENDO, primary care, or inpatient hospital preferred.

Schedule: Contingent status. Monday – Friday in clinic, with occasional inpatient weekend coverage. Hours are typically 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
General
Summary:
The Specialty/Invasive NP/PA will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first-line provider to patients and their families. The role includes inpatient and/or outpatient medical care, working with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently.
Specific procedures are performed as per credentialing and training, and the provider may work in departments such as Cardiovascular Medicine, Emergency Medicine, ICU, Interventional Radiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Surgery, Urgent Care, or Urology.
Education/Experience
Required:
Master’s degree in nursing OR Bachelor’s degree or completion of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program.
Certifications/Licensure
Required:
Current certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner, current state license as a Registered Nurse, current BLS, and current ACLS/ATLS/PALS provider status as required by department. Or requires Michigan state licensure and continuing certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), plus current ACLS/BLS and ATLAS/PALS provider status as required.
