Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department
Location:
Jackson, MI 49201 (Onsite)
Schedule:
Variable ED shifts (36 hrs/week typical); OT billed after 48 hours
Pay:$55-65/hr
SummaryNow hiring an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a busy Emergency Department supporting high-acuity patient care. This Emergency Room Registered Nurserole is ideal for an ED nurse who can triage efficiently, manage changing priorities, and document accurately in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities- Provide ED nursing care using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Triage and monitor patients; recognize deterioration and elevate appropriately
- Administer medications/treatments per orders; document timely and thoroughly
- Communicate patient status and care updates to the interdisciplinary team
- Deliver patient/family education and discharge support
- Support quality and safety standards; respond to emergencies as needed
- Active Michigan RN license(required)
- 2+ years ED experience(required)
- BLS (AHA)(required)
- Trauma-level ED experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and high-quality documentation habits
