GENERAL

SUMMARY:

The RN will serve as a clinical lead for the Jackson Employee Health clinic, managing the health and safety needs of employees. The role differs from bedside nursing because patients are employees of the organization, requiring understanding of both clinical expertise and customer service. The nurse will work with a team of medical assistants and coordinate with providers across the system via telehealth when needed, ensuring employees receive appropriate triage and care navigation for workplace-related health concerns.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:
  • Registered Nurse - graduate from an approved school of nursing required.
  • Bachelor of Science graduate from an approved school of nursing preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience required.
  • Basic computer skills and excellent problem-solving skills required.
  • Occupational Medicine experience preferred.
  • Knowledge in People Soft, Epic, Word, and Excel preferred.
LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:
  • RN in the State of Michigan and BCLS certification required.
  • Preferred certification in Urine and Alcohol collection, and TB testing.
