We are seeking a Quality and Process Control Manager to lead quality assurance and process control initiatives that drive operational excellence, process stability, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality systems, process optimization, and team leadership, with a proven ability to implement data-driven strategies that improve product quality, reduce defects, and enhance overall manufacturing performance.

Position

Responsibilities Build & Lead the Quality Organization
  • Develop and lead a high-performing quality and process control team.
  • Establish clear ownership, performance metrics, and standardized work practices.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Process Control & Risk Management
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plans.
  • Identify process risks and develop effective preventive controls, monitoring systems, and response plans.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve process control strategies.
Process Stability & Performance Improvement
  • Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process capability analysis to reduce variation and improve manufacturing performance.
  • Optimize production processes to increase yield, throughput, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive initiatives that improve process consistency and reliability.
Quality Management Systems
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Oversee internal audits, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), measurement system analysis (MSA), and compliance activities.
  • Integrate quality data systems to support real-time performance monitoring and decision-making.
Continuous Improvement
  • Lead structured problem-solving initiatives using methodologies such as DMAIC and 8D.
  • Analyze quality data and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement sustainable corrective actions and standardize best practices across operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Production, and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Support new product introductions by ensuring quality planning and process readiness.
  • Communicate quality performance and improvement initiatives to leadership.
Prerequisites
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience within a manufacturing quality organization.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience managing and developing technical teams.
  • Strong experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, and CAPA.
  • Experience utilizing statistical analysis and process capability tools to drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE, CQM/OE, or equivalent)
  • ISO Internal Auditor Certification
  • Other quality or manufacturing process certifications
