Sales Manager – Landscape Company Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and leading the sales process from prospecting through contract execution. This role works closely with operations and production teams to ensure client expectations are met while achieving company sales goals. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills and experience in the landscaping, construction, or related service industry.

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue goals.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, cold calling, and community involvement.
• Meet with residential and commercial clients to assess landscaping needs and prepare customized proposals.
• Prepare accurate estimates and present contracts to prospective customers.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Follow up on sales leads in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure projects are completed according to customer expectations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and forecasts using CRM software.
• Lead, coach, and mentor sales representatives (if applicable).
• Participate in trade shows, networking events, and community activities to promote the company.
• Prepare regular sales reports and present performance updates to company leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Horticulture, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in landscaping, construction, or outdoor services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of landscape design, installation, and maintenance services is preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
