We are currently seeking an Industrial Field Service Specialist to join our growing team. As an Industrial Field Service Specialist, you will travel to customer sites to install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain cremation and incineration equipment. Installations range from stand‑alone systems to complex system integration with manufacturing, distribution, and processing lines, including installation and integration of PLCs, encoders, sensors, and software.
You will be the face of the company, providing mechanical excellence and driving sales.

- Assist with installation of cremation and incineration systems, including standard and custom applications.
- Repair equipment at customer site.
- Coordinate problem resolution with product services, engineering, customer service, and other personnel.
- Test and verify electrical motors, sensors, control circuits, power circuits, and proper wiring installation for control panels.
- Verify mechanical and pneumatic components are properly installed.
- Recommend repairs, replacements, and other solutions.
- Develop and conduct training on safe equipment operations for customers, distributors, and team members.
- Maintain equipment inventory, tool kits, repair parts, and company vehicle.
- Provide service support for sales during calls and for new products, working with product management and sales.
- Submit reports and documentation and maintain necessary system information for job tracking.
- Complete system information in a timely manner to ensure accurate billing.
- Promote sales of maintenance agreements, new products, spare parts, and consumables.
- Adhere to travel schedule and policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Certification or apprenticeship in technical, mechanical, electrical technology preferred.
- 4+ years of previous experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Regular weekly travel required.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawing schematics.
- Mechanical aptitude; ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torch preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to rent a car in 50 states.
- Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
- Professional customer relations skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, applied independently and with a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications.
- Self‑motivated with attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk, hear, and see.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Regularly/occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Noise level in the work environment may be high.
