Overview
Candidate will maintain and keep the building equipment running, conduct predictive and preventive maintenance on facilities equipment inside and outside the building, and handle complex repairs requiring high skill and thorough knowledge of machine maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to maintenance requests and handle emergency and necessary repairs.
- Help maintain building interior and exterior surfaces, including drywall repair, plastering, and plumbing.
- Manage safety systems such as fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, alarm contacts, and other building systems.
- Use a multi-meter to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Use fabrication equipment (weld, lathe, mill).
- Perform electrical work up to and including 480v, 3‑phase.
- Conduct lighting repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
- Inspect facility equipment to locate malfunctions and perform minor repairs.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and service HVAC equipment (excluding refrigerant circuit).
- Troubleshoot, repair, and service air compressors.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and service generators.
- Assemble, disassemble, and install equipment and machinery.
- Maintain, clean, and store building equipment and renovate the building’s physical infrastructure.
- Assess functionality of all safety and electrical systems.
- Supervise contractors working on site.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
- Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
- Must be able to communicate issues and repairs verbally and electronically.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Journeyman preferred.
- 5+ years in the field required.
- Self‑motivated with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
