Immediate opening for an experienced fire suppression sprinkler fitter foreman. We are seeking a foreman who can command a job site, solve problems under pressure, and help drive operational excellence across our projects in Detroit, Lansing, Jackson, and surrounding areas in Michigan.

Job Duties and Qualifications
  • Installation of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
  • Install, service, and troubleshoot automatic fire sprinkler systems and all related equipment.
  • Thread and groove pipe, cut hanger rods, frequently climb ladders, hang pipe, read blueprints, lay out, keep a clean work area, and use appropriate equipment such as tools and lifts.
  • Knowledge of fire sprinklers, fire pumps, back‑flows, and standpipes is required.
  • Work unsupervised and be highly self‑motivated and detail oriented.
  • Perform on‑site or off‑site (phone) emergency troubleshooting of sprinkler systems.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed flawlessly.
  • Standard knowledge of hand and power tool operation.
  • Valid driver license with a clean record.
  • Pass reference check.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays for emergency service calls.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent – Required.

Minimum 4 years of foreman experience in fire protection running crews, or 4+ years of foreman experience in fire suppression pipe fitting trade.

Basic knowledge of NFPA code handbooks.

Physical Demands

Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and traveling. Must navigate job sites, comply with all company safety requirements, use heavy equipment, and lift heavy objects as needed.

Compensation and Schedule

Starting pay rate: $35‑$40 per hour, based on experience, with potential evaluation increases.

Pay Frequency:
Weekly every Friday.

Typical shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Break: 15 minutes (9:30‑9:45 AM). Lunch: 30 minutes unpaid (12:00‑12:30 PM). Work hours may require nights, weekends, and/or holidays for emergency calls.
