Immediate opening for an experienced fire suppression sprinkler fitter foreman.

We are seeking an experienced fire sprinkler foreman who can command a job site, solve problems under pressure and help drive operational excellence across our projects in Detroit, Lansing, Jackson, and all the surrounding areas in Michigan.

• 4+ years of foreman experience in fire suppression pipe fitting trade is required for this position.
• Installation of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Install, service, and troubleshoot automatic fire sprinkler systems along with all its related equipment.
• Thread and groove pipe, cut hanger rods, frequently climb ladders, hang pipe, read blueprints, layout, keep clean work area, and use appropriate equipment such as tools, lifts, etc.
• Knowledge of fire sprinklers, fire pumps, back‑flows, and standpipes.
• Ability to work unsupervised and be highly self‑motivated and detail oriented.
• Perform on‑site and/or off‑site (phone) emergency troubleshooting of sprinkler systems.
• Ensure that all projects are done flawlessly.
• Standard knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Must pass reference check.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays for emergency service calls.
• Must be able to travel.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a foreman in fire protection crews.
• Basic knowledge of NFPA code handbooks.

This position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching and traveling. You must be able to navigate the jobsite and comply with all company safety requirements. Heavy equipment may be used, and you need to lift heavy objects.

• Typical start time: 7:00 AM.
• Break & lunch: 1‑15 minute break (9:30 AM‑9:45 AM for all fitters); 30‑minute lunch break unpaid (12:00 PM‑12:30 PM).
• Typical end time: 3:30 PM.

• Pay frequency: weekly (every Friday).
• Starting pay rate: $35‑$40, based on work experience with evaluation pay increases.
