FBi Buildings is hiring experienced Framing Carpenters to join our field construction teams.

If you have experience in wood framing, post-frame construction, pole barns, residential framing, agricultural construction, or structural carpentry

Post-frame experience is valuable, but it isn't required.
If you know how to frame, use construction tools safely, read measurements, and understand how a building goes together, we can teach you our building systems.

As a Framing Carpenter with FBi Buildings
, you'll work alongside experienced construction professionals to build high-quality post-frame, agricultural, commercial, and wood-framed structures.

Responsibilities may include:

Frame and construct wood-framed and post-frame buildings

Install posts, headers, beams, wall framing, trusses, purlins, and other structural components

Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials

Perform rough carpentry and structural framing

Install metal roofing, siding, and exterior building components as needed

Read measurements, construction drawings, and building plans

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, and construction equipment

Assist with building layout and structural construction

Work from Foreman direction and project plans

Maintain an organized and productive jobsite

Follow company and jobsite safety requirements

Work efficiently as part of a construction crew

Travel to regional jobsites as needed

We’re interested in carpenters with experience in areas such as:

Residential framing

Commercial framing

Post-frame / pole barn construction

Structural wood framing

Rough carpentry

Agricultural construction

Farm and livestock buildings

Remodeling and additions

Roofing and siding

Exterior construction

Previous carpentry, framing, or related construction experience

Ability to accurately measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials

Comfortable using hand and power tools

Understanding of basic framing and construction methods

Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Ability to perform physically demanding construction work

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Willingness to learn FBi Buildings' construction methods and processes

Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship

Ability to work effectively as part of a crew

Ability to travel to regional jobsites

Valid driver's license
