• College degree preferred
• Ability to efficiently operate an electronic typewriter, microcomputer (word processor), computer terminal, and calculator
• Extensive knowledge and practical experience with software packages:
  Excel, Lotus, DBase 4, and Power Point
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience in governmental accounting

SUPERVISOR, ACCOUNTING

• Reconciles bank statements
• Reconciles due to and due from amounts between funds
• Prepares journal entries as necessary for correction and reconciliation
• Reconciles warehouse purchase orders to amounts paid and inventory recorded
• Records inventory adjustments necessary to correct pricing or quantity errors
• Assists with preparation for audit and preparing audit schedules
• Assists in preparation of financial statements
• Assists in answering surveys and other requests for statistical information
• Performs other related duties as requested or assigned

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
