Salary: $37,000.00 – $43,740.67 annually

• Review and process sales tax returns, payments, or other documents and information to verify accuracy and correct errors.
• Manually process sales tax returns.
• Assist taxpayers with payments, returns, applications and general sales tax information.
• Review reports for discrepancies.
• Process sales tax refund requests.
• Perform entry‑level clerical accounting functions.
• Provide support as an administrative assistant.
• Answer calls in a polite and professional manner to assist customers.
• Other tasks as assigned.

The ability to learn the complexities of tax administration, make informed decisions, and correctly execute tax policies and procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer software. Ability to communicate with taxpayers and tax professionals verbally and in writing. Ability to multitask and manage assigned tasks.

Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience.
