Executive Assistant – OAVCR Research

To provide high-level administrative support for Senior Management, Assistant Vice Chancellors, Associate Vice Chancellors and Executives.
To work collaboratively with other members of the department to proactively address organizational needs.
To communicate with high-level management.

Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Four (4) years of administrative support experience.
  • No required certifications, licenses or registration.
Responsibilities
  • Reads and analyzes incoming correspondence and reports to determine significance and plans distribution.
  • Responds to incoming correspondence.
  • Compiles and analyzes complex information for inclusion in reports and/or presentations using graphical software, spreadsheets, and/or presentation software.
  • Answers telephones and resolves complex caller needs within broadly-defined guidelines and without managerial oversight.
  • Supervises departmental clerical staff and ensures completion of assigned tasks.
  • Works directly with senior management on special projects.
  • Prepares agendas and makes arrangements for food service, room scheduling, and materials preparation.
