Job Title

Senior Education Administrator - Radiology

Job Summary

Supervise all divisional education administrators within the department, providing leadership and support to ensure effective coordination and cross-training among staff. Assist in managing the daily operations of the office, overseeing activities related to both medical student and resident education programs.

Education & Experience

Degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) and three (3) years of administrative support experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with students, faculty, and external partners.
  • Excellent organization and problem‑solving abilities to manage complex placement logistics.
  • High level of attention to detail in handling compliance and documentation.
  • Effective prioritization and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee program administration, including supervision of divisional education administrators and coordination of workflow to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with the student clerkship director and faculty to manage M3 and M4 student activities such as clinical rotations, orientation for new surgery service students, lectures, grading, and exams.
  • Partner with residency program directors and divisional faculty to coordinate lectureships, resident interviews, testing, surgical case tracking to ensure residents meet case requirements, and preparation of on‑call schedules.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation is maintained to comply with Graduate Medical Education office, Residency Review Committee (RRC), and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements.
Physical and Environmental Demands
  • Requires occasional bending and occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
  • Constant sitting and occasional walking.
  • Workload distribution: occasional (up to 20%), frequent (21%–50%), constant (51% or more).
