The Program Specialist Team Leader leads the Strengthen Mississippi Homes grant program within the Mississippi Insurance Department. The role oversees all aspects of grant administration—from application intake through closeout—manages program staff, develops policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with federal and state requirements. This position reports to agency leadership and serves as the primary point of contact for the grant program.
Keyqualifications
- Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, management, finance, community development, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in grant administration or related field
- Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience
- Experience supervising professional or administrative staff
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
