Data Analyst

Job Summary:

The MS - MDHS Analyst role involves managing and supervising analytical tasks within the MDHS department. The position requires a full-time onsite commitment and focuses on supporting departmental operations through data analysis and management oversight.

• Manage and supervise analytical projects and staff within the department.
• Conduct data analysis to support departmental decision-making.
• Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve departmental goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation and records of analytical activities.

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in management or supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Experience working within MDHS or similar government departments.
• Advanced certifications in data analysis or project management.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to the department.

• 100% onsite presence required at the specified location in Jackson, Mississippi.
• There is an incumbent currently holding the position, but all qualified candidates will be considered.

• Full-time position with a 40-hour work week.
• Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
