Project Manager - Construction
The Musco Construction Services Team has an opening for a Project Manager in Mississippi. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!
Essential Criteria- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a technical field preferred; relevant work experience also considered as an alternative.
- Good interpersonal skills a must, including the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organization skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and understand project specifications, construction, and electrical drawings.
- Must be computer‑oriented;
Word and Excel skills are necessary. - Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
- Team and goal oriented.
- Review project and identify all details to be included in the scope of work.
- Develop scope of work and create request for quote (RFQ) for subcontractors; work with Musco’s Sales Representative on pricing when needed.
- Attend pre‑construction meetings with customers, sales, and contractors to assure accurate information of installation; coordinate project details, installation and delivery arrangements with Sales and Engineering.
- Provide onsite training with customer or contractors to ensure that Musco products are installed correctly.
- Field technical questions from all groups involved in project installation (reps, contractors, customers, etc.).
- Identify, communicate, and implement change orders; track installation and approve invoices.
- Provide weekly progress reports to project stakeholders.
- Lead final inspections and project close‑out documentation.
- Manage 25‑35 projects to completion yearly.
- Travel to projects weekly; overnight travel typically two to four days a week, subject to change as demand requires. Company vehicle provided.
