What You’ll Be Doing- Operate heavy equipment to move dirt, rock, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Spread, smooth, and level materials on roadbeds and construction sites
- Read and maintain grade while adjusting machine settings as needed
- Perform documented pre‑shift equipment inspections
- Coordinate with crew members using hand signals and radio communication
- Inspect, clean, maintain, and assist with minor equipment repairs
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year
- Work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends when project demands require
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Support the crew with additional duties as assigned by supervisors
- 3+ years of experience in the civil construction industry
- 2+ years of verifiable heavy equipment operating experience
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel to project locations as needed
- Ability to pass pre‑employment screening, including drug screen and background check
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work safely in fast‑paced construction environments
- Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills
