• Operate heavy equipment to move dirt, rock, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently
• Spread, smooth, and level materials on roadbeds and construction sites
• Read and maintain grade while adjusting machine settings as needed
• Perform documented pre‑shift equipment inspections
• Coordinate with crew members using hand signals and radio communication
• Inspect, clean, maintain, and assist with minor equipment repairs
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year
• Work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends when project demands require
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Support the crew with additional duties as assigned by supervisors

• 3+ years of experience in the civil construction industry
• 2+ years of verifiable heavy equipment operating experience
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel to project locations as needed
• Ability to pass pre‑employment screening, including drug screen and background check
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work safely in fast‑paced construction environments
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills
