M - F; 8 hour days; some callouts may be required Classification: full-time salary exempt potential for biweekly bonuses Salary Range: $77,000 - $83,500 per year; per diem General Description

Greenup seeks a Construction Inspector familiar with standard construction practices, methods, materials, and equipment. This role involves inspecting work to ensure compliance with regulatory standards as well as project specifications. The Construction Inspector will also perform tests or gather test samples to verify the quality of materials used for each project. Applicants should have a degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience working on large commercial or residential construction projects.

Applicants should also possess a valid diver’s license, as the duties will require the Construction Inspector to visit and evaluate various work sites.

• Computer Application Suites such as Google Docs/Sheets and/or Microsoft Office
• Email such as Google (Gmail) or Outlook
• Organized and detail oriented
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Understand construction activities involving the construction of public utilities, roadways, and drainage systems
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and appropriate transportation
• Ability to test into and remain active in a random drug testing program using a 10-panel
• Awareness of safety requirements and practices

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Review pay applications
• Maintain daily logs identifying construction activities
• Provide clear documentation of findings and results
• Perform basic analysis of data to verify accuracy before communication and submission to the Project Manager
• Communicate information to Project Manager and other personnel as directed by the Project Manager and/or Engineer
