CCL Global is recruiting a Field Project Controls Analyst to support the construction of a new natural gas compressor station near Jackson, Mississippi.
This is a field-based role supporting a major capital expansion project. You'll work directly with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and contractors to track project costs, review field documentation, monitor construction progress, and provide accurate cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
What You’ll Do- Track project costs, productivity, and construction progress.
- Review contractor time & material (T&M) tickets, invoices, daily reports, and timesheets.
- Maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking logs.
- Assist with forecasting, cost reporting, and change management.
- Perform variance analysis and identify cost trends.
- Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports for project leadership.
- Work closely with Project Management, Construction, Scheduling, Procurement, Accounting, and contractor teams.
- Support field execution by ensuring accurate cost tracking and documentation throughout construction.
- 3+ years of experience in Project Controls, Cost Controls, Cost Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Experience supporting industrial or heavy construction projects.
- Experience working directly with contractors in a field environment.
- Pipeline, midstream, compressor station, oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, power generation, or EPC experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with Power BI, Oracle, or similar reporting tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent field experience will also be considered.
- 100% field-based position
- Project located near Jackson, MS (Hinds County)
- Valid driver's license required
This position supports the construction of a new greenfield compressor station designed to increase natural gas pipeline capacity. The initial assignment is expected to last approximately 12 months, with strong potential to transition directly into future compressor station and pipeline projects as additional work begins.
